  • I practice Vinyasa, Hatha, Kundalini and Ashtanga. They each serve their purpose and I choose what is right for me based on my intention and values at the time. For example, if I want to feed my brain and increase focus I will lean towards ashtanga or Kundalini.

    Kundalini has been helped me tremendously with focus and pleasure! A recent study showed Kundalini practitioners showed a significant increase in the volume of the right hippocampus, the hippocampus is an important part of brain function, associated with memory, learning, the link between emotions and memories, and the regulation of spatial navigation. So really it depends on the intention! Its like choosing a doctor, your eye hurts go to the optometrist. Rigid go to Vinyasa!

  • Haha valid point! Naked Almond was actually a nickname given to me by my ex partners daughter. We would make smoothies together, and preferred almonds without the skin. Hence, the name naked almond.

    It is healthy, sexy and I ran with it!

  • I eat what makes me feel best! I have tried many fad diets over the years to find that my body's wisdom holds the key to a happy, healthy, and vibrant me. I love to eat fresh foods, do not enjoy dairy, and the more colorful my plate is, the better.

    I eat two meals a day, and my first meal is always at 1pm.

  • Yes! I longed for a yoga mentorship in my early days of practice. I found many teachers along the way however I imagined one sticking with me as the years went on. Someone devoted to studying the practice and helping me evolve for years to come. So I became that!

    Many of my students have been practicing with me for years and nothing brings me more joy than to see them thrive.
